Ruban Roberts

President of the Miami Dade County of the NAACP

Today we are honored to speak with Ruban Roberts, President of the Miami Dade County chapter of NAACP.  The NAACP, as an organization, is well known in the United States to be the defender of those who have suffered civil rights violations.  The NAACP works within communities to defend the liberty and justice for all.

In this podcast, Ruban leads us in a fascinating and informative conversation that spans across not only the current events of today but all the way back to when the NAACP was founded over 100 years ago.  As an organization, the NAACP is working towards police reform, Get Out And Vote campaigns, and tirelessly defending those whose voices don’t often get heard.  Ruban and the NAACP are providing the people of Miami Dade County with resources they need when their civil rights are violated.

The NAACP is a phenomenal resource to help anyone defend their civil rights.  They are always willing to listen, provide guidance, and take on new projects.  The NAACP was founded in 1909 and is still going strong today.  If you are interested in being an ally, or how to help- the NAACP is an excellent resource to guide you.
